Itinerary

Day 0 – Arrival

  • Arrive in Senaru. Around Rinjani Office

  • Meet for briefing.

  • Prepare gear, pack essentials, and rest overnight at the guesthouse.

Day 1 – Sembalun Village → Sembalun Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun)

Total Trekking Time: 7–8 hours

Accommodation: Camping at Sembalun Crater Rim

07:00 – Breakfast at the homestay

  • Meet your guide and porters

  • Transfer to Sembalun Entrance Gate for registration

08:00 – Start the Trek

  • Begin trekking through the long Sembalun savannah

  • Easy to moderate ascent

10:00 – Pos 1 (Rest)

  • Short break for fruits/snacks

11:30 – Pos 2 (Rest)

  • Hydration and short rest

12:30 – Lunch at Pos 3

  • Hot lunch prepared by the team

  • Rest before the steep climb

13:30 – Continue to the Crater Rim

  • Steeper ascent with open views

  • Cooler temperatures as you gain elevation

16:30–17:00 – Arrive at Sembalun Crater Rim

  • Camp setup by porters

  • Magnificent views of Segara Anak Lake

  • Sunset above the clouds

19:00 – Dinner at the campsite

  • Early rest for the summit attempt

Day 2 – Summit Push → Descent to Sembalun → Transfer to Next Destination

Total Trekking Time: 9–10 hours

02:00 – Wake Up for Summit Push

  • Light snack and hot drink

  • Begin the most challenging part of the trek

02:30 – Start Climbing to the Summit (3,726m)

  • Soft volcanic sand, steep incline

  • Slow and steady ascent

05:30–06:00 – Reach the Summit

  • Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise

  • 360° views of Lombok, Sumbawa, Bali, and Segara Anak Lake

  • Photos and rest

06:30 – Begin Descent to Crater Rim Camp

  • Breakfast awaits at the campsite

09:00 – Trek Down to Sembalun

  • Long descent via savannah

  • Stops at Pos 3, Pos 2, and Pos 1

13:00–14:00 – Finish at Sembalun Village

  • Lunch at the base

  • Short rest and refresh

After the Trek – Transfer Provided

  • Drop-off to:

    • Bangsal

    • Senggigi

    • Mataram

  • Additional fee:

    • Kuta Lombok: +150,000 IDR / person

    • Destinations farther than Kuta (e.g., Tetebatu): normal transport rates
